' Tegal is a city in Central Java province. Its area is divided into two districts: the northern part is Tegal City itself, and the southern part is Tegal Regency, which has its own city, Slawi, which includes the Guci tourist area.
"The Guci area of Tegal Regency, more precisely in the Java region, offers one of the most beautiful natural attractions and epic panoramas, and this time we will review the Guci hot spring tourist attraction.
'The Guci tourist area is located in and possibly adjacent to Pemalang Regency. The main access is via Moga Road in Pemalang and also via the Linggapura three-way intersection in Brebes Regency.
According to the legend or history of the local residents of the Guci area who still believe in it and carry out rituals to this day, it is only a symbol of respect for the ancestors who have contributed to the Guci area.
"This area provides complete facilities and is very suitable for family holidays, because here there are hot springs that come directly from the foot of Mount Slamet in Central Java, which is one of the mountains that is often used as a destination for climbers or called mapala.

* History among the local community
In ancient times, around 1767, it was mentioned in the national history journal that a nobleman from the Demak Sultanate was mentioned.
His name was Raden Aryo Wiryo, he felt bored with the situation around the palace where there were often conflicts between brothers and struggles for the leadership throne within the palace.
The situation was getting more and more chaotic, making Raden Aryo Wiryo decide to leave the palace area.
Finally, Raden Aryo Winaryo decided to leave and departed with his wife, who was better known as Nyai Tumbu.
After several years, he also immortalized the kingdom of Mataram, during the glory days of Sultan Agung Hanyorokusumo
at thats time.
He was also assigned by Sultan Agung Hanyorokusumo to the Cirebonan......
" Maybe in another review we can provide a more in-depth description of the Cirebon Sultanate... back to the main topic.
"Long story short, after the end of his term of service, Raden Aryo Winaryo decided to settle on the slopes of Mount Slamet, which is now the GUCI area.
At that time, the area was still a wilderness, but as time went by, many people heard and decided to study with Raden Aryo Winaryo and then settled there.
Because many people wanted to stay and study with him, the area was finally named Keputihan Village (because its condition was still original and had not been touched by religions other than Islam).
Once upon a time, there was a pageblug (a disaster such as a landslide and an itchy disease or what the Javanese call gudiken) like there are small wounds but they spread all over the body, from the feet to the hands ,, the beliefs of the people at that time.
At that time, a traveler from the Gunung Jati Islamic Boarding School came who was none other than a student of Sunan Gunung Jati who is better known as Kyai Elang Sutajaya.
Finally, Kyai Elang Sutajaya invited Raden Aryo Winaryo and the surrounding residents to pray to Allah SWT by adapting the ritual customs which are now called Ruwat Bumi.
"This ritual is carried out by slaughtering livestock, crops and vegetables which are distributed to the poor or travelers,,
'which until now is often carried out in the month of Ashura or in the Islamic calendar the month of Mukharam until now And it is highly respected because it has been passed down from generation to generation.
After praying, Sunan Gunung Jati also agreed to attend, but he appeared in a supernatural way and then gave a jar that had been given a prayer by Sunan Gunung Jati to Kyai Elang Sutajaya.
After the gift of the jar from Sunan Gunung Jati, the surrounding area finally became peaceful again, which is now called the jar.
* Well... that's a short story among the local community around the Guci tourist attraction, which is perhaps still believed in today because it has been passed down through generations among the local community itself.
" about the Guci area which is now a tourist attraction in the Bumi Jawa sub-district, Tegal Regency.
